Lebanese President Joseph Aoun welcomed a regional delegation of international religious freedom leaders, led by Habib Ephrem, Advisor to the President, at the Ba’abda Presidential Palace. The visit affirmed Lebanon’s legacy of co-existence and its potential to lead globally on religious freedom. The Zovighian Public Office was represented by founder Lynn Zovighian.

لإبراز دور الموسيقيين في لبنان وسط ظروف الحرب والتحديات الاجتماعية والاقتصادية المستمرة، نظمت كاتدرائية القديسين غريغوريوس المنوّر والياس النّبي للأرمن الكاثوليك بالتعاون مع الرابطة السريانية بالتعاون والمكتب العام لزوفيكيان (ZPO) حفل “إعطاء صوت للأمل” بهدف خلق مساحة آمنة ومفتوحة للتعايش والتعبير الموسيقي المتنوع بين مختلف المجتمعات والأجيال.

في خضمّ عام مليء بالتحدّيات احتضنت كاتدرائية القديسين غريغوريوس المنور والياس النبي للأرمن الكاثوليك يوم الأربعاء 18 كانون الأول (ديسمبر) حفلاً موسيقيا تاريخياً احتفاءً بالإرث والأمل، بتنظيم مشترك مع الرابطة السريانية والمكتب العام لزوفيكيات. الحفل خُصّص لتكريم أبطال الصفوف الأمامية في الحرب الأخيرة في لبنان، الذين مثلوا أسمى معاني الإنسانية والتفاني العميق في سبيل السلام. شمل التكريم الأطباء الممرضين والممرضات المسعفين، الصحافيين، الدفاع المدني الجيش اللبناني، وطيران الشرق الأوسط (الميدل إيست).

To empower musicians in Lebanon facing socioeconomic deprivation and growing risks of permanently leaving the country with brain drain, the American University of Beirut (AUB) Neighborhood Initiative and the ZPO launched the "Giving Voice to Music" initiative to create safe and public spaces for music to be amplified and celebrated.

اجتمع مسؤولون حكوميون وأصحاب المصلحة والمعنيين في مركز ويلسون في واشنطن من أجل مناقشة عاجلة حول المجتمعات المهددة في سنجار بسبب انعدام الأمن المزمن. ودعا الخبراء في حلقة النقاش كل من حكومة العراق وحكومة إقليم كردستان لإيجاد حلّ عاجل لانهيار الأمن في سنجار وما يترتب عليه من عواقب إنسانية.

تم وضع تصوّر استراتيجي للفيلم الوثائقي القصير الذي تمّ تكليف لين زوفيكيان والمكتب العام لزوفيكيان بإعداده، تمويله والمشاركة في انتاجه، من خلال تصميم بحث عالي المشاركة يركز على المجتمع المحلي للتحقيق في العواقب الطويلة الأمد لجرائم الإبادة الجماعية التي تواجه الإيزيديين وللاستماع إلى ندائهم للعمل.
